At Life Meant to Live, our mission is to embrace and support women facing challenging circumstances surrounding their pregnancy journeys. We are dedicated to providing free ultrasounds to women whose unborn babies have received a terminal diagnosis and those who are contemplating abortion. With empathy and compassion, we aim to empower families to see the beauty and potential beyond any diagnosis, enabling them to savor and cherish every precious moment together. We strive to create a nurturing environment where hope, love, and understanding thrive, guiding individuals towards a future filled with strength, resilience, and lifelong memories.

We are a team of world-class sonographers and volunteers dedicated to the mission of our 501(c)3 organization.
At Life Meant to Live, we see women and families from every race, gender, social background, and life situation.
We take our No Judgement Policy to heart. Our goal is to facilitate a loving and compassionate relationship with every client and family.
Compassionate Volunteers
Life Meant to Live was brought to life by Tammy Cowan in 2010. Tammy noticed there wasn’t a place for women who were unsure about their pregnancy to get an ultrasound after 12 weeks.
Tammy answered the call of this desperate need by manufacturing her own solution. She worked full-time during the day as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and used her skills and savings to personally purchase an ultrasound machine and lease a location where women could safely come and receive ultrasounds.
After some time, She realized she needed to be available at all times for people in need, not just in the evenings after a full day of work. Tammy took a leap of faith, left her lifetime career at the hospital, and opened Imaging Miracles to help fund Life Meant to Live.
